NATIONAL INSET SECONDARY PROGRAMME TRAINING 2016

 

THEME:

Enhancing effective learner involvement through innovative classroom practices

 

TARGET PARTICIPANTS

Mathematics and Science Teachers with 8-12 Years of Teaching Experience

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of the course participants are to:

1. Discuss and share experiences on implementation of 2015 INSET at

  • County-based INSET;
  • School-based INSET (lesson study)

 

2. Enhance the ability of participants to:

  • Practice ASEI-PDSI approach through Problem-Based Learning (PBL)
  • Develop learners’ Communication and Collaboration skills (CCs)

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

 

Upon completion of the training module, you should be able to:-

1. Demonstrate ASEI-PDSI practice through project-based learning to promote learner growth.

2. Apply skills learned to develop learner’s communication and collaborative skills as key 21st century skills

3. Apply skills learned to practice lesson innovation for learner growth
