African Olympiad Academy training Camp at CEMASTEA
The Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) in partnership with the African Olympiad Academy (AOA), is holding a Residential Bootcamp for 30 students from Wednesday, 8th to Sunday, 12th April 2026 at CEMASTEA, Karen.
The proposed boot camp will support Kenya’s preparation for the Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO) and the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), while also introducing and strengthening informatics training ahead of the Pan-African Informatics Olympiad (PAIO) in Rwanda. In doing so, it will position Kenya to expand its Olympiad participation beyond mathematics and further enhance institutional visibility and partnerships in high-impact academic programs.
The activities will be implemented jointly by officers from CEMASTEA, African Olympiad Academy (AOA) and the University of Nairobi.
