The Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) is a Government institution under the Ministry of Education. The Vision is being an empowered, creative and innovative STEM society in Africa. The Mission is to continuously develop capacity in STEM education for sustainable development through training, research, innovation and partnerships with related ecosystems.
CEMASTEA's mandate is to develop capacity in STEM education, training and research.

CEMASTEA programmes benefit teachers, teacher educators, education managers, STEM educators, learners and other education stakeholders. Programmes may target different levels of education, including Pre-Primary, Primary, Junior School, Senior School, teacher-training institutions, and other education stakeholders.
CEMASTEA offers a range of programmes in STEM education, including Teacher Professional Development (TPD), ICT integration in teaching and learning, STEM education, lesson study, curriculum implementation support, research and knowledge management, and customised training programmes in STEM.
