Research Development & Knowledge Management
Research and Development (R&D) is a key strategic component that CEMASTEA capitalises on to remain relevant in its pursuit of implementing capacity development of teachers. Accordingly, activities of R&D department are expected to contribute to a dynamic INSET and classroom practices that ensure effective teaching and learning.

Objectives of R&D department
The following are objectives of R&D department
- To provide training needs for all training conducted by CEMASTEA except international programme at least 6 months prior to the start of training
- To provide feedback from M&E exercises for incorporation in training content development and sharing with stakeholders annually
- To coordinate the conduction of at least one research every two years
- To coordinate the presentation of at least two research papers in conferences per year
- To coordinate the writing of at least one research paper or book and submit it for publication every two years
- To organise at least one forum for sharing of ideas and information on best practices in teaching and learning such as conferences and symposia once every two years
