As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) joined Kimuri Secondary, a mixed day and boarding school in Murungaru location, Nyandarua South sub-county on Friday July 26, 2019 in awarding the best students in the last years KCSE exams, the best performing classes, teachers, students in the continuous assessment tests and other co-curricular activities such as games, music and Kenya Science and Engineering Fair (KSEF).

CEMASTEA emphasized o n the need for discipline in whatever they do since that will take them a long way. She further advised them to remain focused for them to realize success.

Hitherto that, she mentioned the role CEMASTEA is playing in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and informed them that the institution which is mandated by the Ministry of Education (MoE) to provide Teacher, Professional, Development (TPD) to Science and Mathematics teachers is ready to build Science and Mathematics culture in their school and donate trophies for the best class in STEM subjects every year. It will also help ‘incubate’ some of their innovations.
